HOW DOES NDYAG LASER WORK?
ND Yag Q-switch laser produces a high intensity beam of light in very short pulses in two different wavelengths.
When applied to tattoos – the intense and rapid ‘switching’ heats up and expands half the ink particle – while the other half remains cool. The opposing cool and hot forces then rip the ink particle apart.
Once the lasers break the ink particles apart into bite-sized chunks, your white blood cells can absorb them for transportation to the liver.
This specific wavelengths are absorbed preferentially by pigmented spots in the skin (scars, freckles etc) and the resultant heat cause damage to the cells containing pigment. These damaged cells will then be cleared from the site resulting in lightening of the pigmented site.
ND Yag can be used to improve skin tone, reduce rosacea and thread facial vein, reduce facial wrinkles, treat sun damage (including age spots and brown pigmentation), firming and tightening the skin, and stimulate new collagen and elastin tissue production.
