Also known as ‘Carbon laser skin rejuvenation’, ‘China Doll Peel’ or ‘Hollywood Peel’ it is highly beneficial for people of all skin types and colours and helps with oily skin, blackheads, enlarged pores, and severe acne on the face or body. This specialised Laser Peel is a procedure for enhancing the skin’s radiance, promoting a smooth, glowing complexion and reducing pigmentation. Benefits:
• Gently clear your pores to help reduce blackheads and whiteheads • Eliminates the need to extract comedones • Simultaneously targets acne causing bacteria • Shrinks your sebaceous glands for reduced oil production, congestion and outbreaks • Decreases cyst size, papules and nodules
• Brighter more even complexion • Reduces melasma • A cleaner complexion
• Collagen and elastin stimulation • Vascular treatment • Exfoliates and refreshes • Firmer skin • Removes fine lines and wrinkles How the carbon laser peel works Carbon bonds to dead skin cells and penetrates pores: adhering to debris, oil and bacteria. The laser is applied to the surface of the skin and the dark pigment from the carbon particles absorb the light. This light energy is converted into heat which in turn causes a mini explosion. On the surface of the skin, as the explosion occurs the carbon is vaporized along with any bacteria, dirt, oil or dead skin cells. Because the pores are rapidly cleared – pores appear instantly smaller. The procedure also stimulates collagen production closing pores in the long run. The carbon that has attached itself to dead and pigmentated skin are also removed improving pigmentation and uneven skin tone. There’s very little discomfort or pain. The sensation has been described as a mild tingling or very slight pinch. No downtime. Just glowing skin which is truly clean. What to Expect:
